As always, the opponent, playcalling, and depth chart form a reliable core of metrics to use when analyzing a player ahead of their upcoming matchup. Week 4 saw eight games finish under their total point projections, as defenses collapsed pockets and blanketed receivers. A few games did manage to find the over, but most of the league’s defensive units appear to also benefit from a month’s worth of game tape on opposing offenses. Therefore, let’s attempt to stay ahead by identifying the players to start or sit in lineups entering Week 5.
